The Blackberry Torch probably isn’t going to be the next big smartphone but does try to improve on what blackberry users  have already come to expect. The Torch looks much like the current Bold line, but adds a 3.2-inch touch screen and a slide out keyboard, while maintaining the current trackpad. The Android platform from Google is wasting no time becoming a force in the cell phone market. The HTC Droid ERIS and Motorola Droid are the first Android platform phones from Verizon. Verizon know for being a little slow with new phones hopes this will give them a boost in the PDA/Smart Phone market. Both phones feature a 5MP camera, Wi-fi, and touch screens along with access to the Android market. There are a few differences. The Droid ERIS features a 3.2 inch screen, virtual qwerty keyboard, and runs on Android 1.5 while the Motorola Droid has a 3.7 inch screen, a slide out qwerty keyboard, and runs on Android 2.0. So if you have Verizon and are looking to upgrade you finally have some good choices.
