Nfl Week 12, 2010

The NFL was on fire this week with fines and tempers flaring as the post season approaches. We all saw this one ^ one to remember. Read on if you didn’t get a recap

Patriots-45, Lions-24:

Thanksgiving kicked off early with Tom Brady threw a season-high four touchdown passes, all in the second half, to help the Patriots rout the Lions 45-24 on Thursday. The Patriots 9-2 and up top of the AFC east with the Jets.

Saints-30, Cowboys-27:

Drew Brees and the Saints recovered from blowing a 17-point lead by marching 89 yards for a go-ahead touchdown with 1:55 left, pulling out a 30-27 victory over the Cowboys on Thursday. Not to mention Roy Williams could have sealed the game until he was stripped naked deep in  Saints territory. Shortly after the Saints went on for the game winning drive.

Jets-26, Bengals-10:

Brad Smith’s two long touchdown plays lifted the Jets past the Bengals Thursday night to keep the Jets tied atop the AFC East. The Bengals are certified buns with their reality Tv stars. They need to face the reality that they have very little wins.

Falcons-20, Packers-17:

The Falcons are def forreal @ 9-2 right now and don’t look like they’re gonna slow down. RB Mike Turner had another 100 yard game in an important conference match-up.

Steelers-19, Bills-16:

Buffalo  blew an opportunity to win the game with 10:30 left in overtime. Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson got behind the Steelers secondary, but he dropped a 40-yard pass on the run while he was 2 yards into the end zone. He blamed god on twitter the next day. smh. Shaun Suisham sealed the deal with the GW field goal in overtime.

Browns-24, Panthers-23:

the Browns have been pullin out some dirty wins this season grinding it out with big dog RB Peyton Hillis. He rushed for 131 yards and 3 TD’s. Carolina had a shot at a game winning drive but missed a FG to end regulation.

Texans-20, Titans-0:

The Titans were shut out in the division Rivalry. The Highlight of the day was Titans CB Cortland Finnegan getting duffed by superstar WR Andre Johnson in the 4th QTr. The storm was brewing early. It was a sight to see. The Titans are on a 3 game losing streak and are losing power points by the week. Arian Foster rushed for 143 yards off 30 carries and no TD’s.

Giants-24, Jags-20:

After a sub-par 1st half Giants got it together and came back to win the game. *yawns* They are tied for 1st place in the NFC east with the Eagles

Vikings-17, Redskins-13:

Favre scrambled for a first down on a third-and-8 play right before the two-minute warning, then hugged several teammates. Wow. He finally won a game with no turnovers. Still shouldnt come back next season. Adrian Peterson was sidelined with an ankle injury. Thats not gonna go so well.

Dolphins-33, Raiders-17:

Dolphins QB Chad Henne made a triumphant return to the lineup to throw for 307 yards and two scores and K Dan Carpenter kicked four field goals to help the Miami Dolphins beat the Raiders.

Chiefs-42, Seahawks-24:

WR Dwayne Bowe had a career day with 3 TD catches on 13 catches and 170 yards.  RB Jamaal Charles rushed for 173 yards and 1 TD. The Chiefs are still in 1st place of the AFC west over the red hot Chargers.

Ravens-17, Buccaneers-10:

The Ravens remain undefeated at home this year with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccs on sunday.  QB Joe Flacco hit the air hard for 289 yards and TD’s to lead them over the Buccs who have been playing some decent ball.

Bears-31, Eagles-26:

QB Jay Cutler had a great day throwing 4 TD’s on 240 yards passing…no interceptions… *claps for’em* RB Matt Forte also surpassed the century mark running for 117 yards. Mike Vick also proved he was human throwing his 1st interception of the year on a 300 yard passing day.

Rams-36, Broncos-33:

Nuttin like an old fashioned shoot out. The Rams are looking like they wanna do something that they havent in years but we wont speak too soon yet. The Rookie QB Sam Bradford threw for 300 + yards and 3 Td’s along with Kylow Orton. But the Rookie would manage to pull this one out.

Chargers-36, Colts-14:

The story of the chargers…. start cold, finish hot. Even without start WR Vincent Jackson the Chargers came through on defense forcing Peyton Manning to throw 4 interception…Thats the most since his rookie year in a game. RB Mike Tolbert ran for 100 yards and a Td to top everything off.

49ers-27, Cardinals-6:

Nice lil Monday night beatdown was dished out by Troy Smith and the 49ers. Smith threw for 100 yards and a TD. The story of the night was the forgotten little man. RB Bryan Westbrook who was the evenings impact player with 136 yards rushing and 1 TD. We havent seen him in that for for a couple years. good to see him back. Good Win for Singletary and the Niners.
